Women In Business seminar this weekend Entrance is R70. Interested women must RSVP to Malunga at 079 097 9223. >>

NOSIPHO Malunga from Muteni Trading said the Women in Business seminar is held to empower women who want to venture into business and arm them with skills in order to sustain their business.

“With the end of the year almost here,
people will have new resolutions for next year and some will be looking to start their own business.

“The aim of the seminar is to gather aspiring women entrepreneurs so we can arm them with the necessary skills.

“Mentors and women, already established in the business sector, will share tips about their
success.

“It is not easy being a woman entrepreneur, especially among aspiring ones, and they need to be prepared for the challenges.”

Malunga, who owns a catering and
décor company, said after attending an
entrepreneurial gala in Durban last month, she was motivated to share her knowledge with women.

“There are so many talented women who are business minded, but do not have enough drive to start their business.

“Some lack knowledge as they believe that starting a business is difficult. We will have speakers who will talk about various topics, including business ethics.

“We call all women to join us in their numbers. As long as you have an idea, it can be put into action,” she said.

The seminar, on Saturday, 28 November, is limited to 50 women only because of space limitations and starts at 12pm lasting until 3pm.
