THE PE EXPRESS is once again looking for a baby to grace the front page of the last edition of the year – the Christmas edition on Wednesday, December 16.

The annual PE Express Christmas Baby Competition is aimed at making the day even more special for babies who are celebrating their first Christmas.

Apart from the honour of gracing our last front page of the year, the winning baby will also receive a photo shoot and images on a disk to the value of R1 200 from Pro Design Photographers.

This year, parents must enter their babies via our social media platforms. There are three platforms to choose from:

Facebook – PE Express Newspaper

At the top of our Facebook page, click on the Christmas Baby tab, which will take you to the entry form where you can upload your baby’s photo and enter all the details. You need to enter from a computer or laptop, because cell phone entries do not work.

Twitter – @PEExpress1

Submit your photo via Twitter; include all the necessary info and then tag @PEExpress1 and #ExpressChristmasBaby.

Instagram – ep_media24

1) Follow us on Instagram;

2) Upload your photo and include all the necessary info;

3) Include #ExpressChristmasBaby in your post.

Only online entries will be accepted this year – no photos may be e-mailed, posted or dropped off at our office.

The following information must be included:

. Name and surname of the baby

. Date of birth (eg: 2015-10-30)

. Suburb you live in.

Entries which do not have this information, will not be considered.

How the competition will work

The closing date for entries is 4pm on Sunday, November 29.

Entry photos need not have a Christmas theme, and baby’s face must be clearly visible. Only babies living in Port Elizabeth are allowed to enter.

All the rules of the competition can be viewed on our Facebook page or our website at www.pe-express.co.za.

The top 10 finalists will be announced on our Facebook page and in the PE Express newspaper on Wednesday, December 2.

The winner of the competition will be re-photographed by Pro-Design Photographers and must be available between December 5 and 10 for the photo session.

All the entries received will be published on our facebook page in photo galleries.
