IT’S that time of year again: time for Lake Farm Centre’s fifth annual tin collection.
The non-profit organisation is currently home to 90 intellectually and physically challenged adult residents.
“While some of our residents still have families to contribute financially to their support, many are orphaned and are entirely dependent on the centre for their personal needs,” said Marjorie Moore.
Moore is a member of the Lake Farm Centre Aid Association Committee – Fund-raising.
They are looking for volunteers for hourly shifts or longer to stand with a Lake Farm Centre tin at specific locations during the collection. The tin collection will take place on September 7 from 08:00 to 13:00
To volunteer for the tin collection, contact Maggie at 081 466 1044 or email@example.com, or send a message on the Lake Farm Centre PE Facebook page.
