Passion Play Ministries International (PPMI) will be presenting their theatre production, He’s Alive for free this April.
He’s Alive is a dramatic representation of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and will be performed by a cast made up of 100 community actors ranging from housewives to accountants from across Cape Town.
They will be directed by Bronwyne Scott, a theatre veteran with some 36 years of experience, who has been directing this production annually since its inception in Cape Town.
“This drama touches lives. People simply come and watch and their lives are forever changed as they witness in drama the awesomeness of God’s love and forgiveness,” she says.
PPMI is a non-profit volunteer organisation which was started to build up the body of Christ and to proclaim the free gift of salvation by helping to establish presentations to audiences worldwide.
The organisation has more than 3000 members in the United States, Africa, India, Malaysia and Central America.
This year marks their 18th year of the organisation’s ministry in Cape Town.
He’s Alive will be presented at the Bellville Civic Theatre from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 8 April at 19:30 with 14:30 matinee performances on the Saturday and Sunday.
Entrance is free, but there will be opportunities to make donations.
