Kids can choose actors’ tales

Young audiences will get to create their own imaginative adventure at the Galloway Theatre from Friday.

Little ones will be able to go on an interactive, improvised adventure at the Galloway Theatre this holiday when Tangible productions presents storytelling for children in Pop-up Tales.

Pop-up Tales is a fresh take on storytelling where children get to decide their own fun-filled adventure.

A professional team of actors will base their stories on suggestions from the audience. With narration, props, music, sound effects and even drawing, they will take children on an imaginative journey where they get to help the actors create a world of magic and adventure. Because the story is improvised, no tale is ever the same so they can join in again and again.

Parents can join in the fun or enjoy coffee and cake in the Take 5 cafeteria just outside the theatre. V Pop-up Tales will be staged from Friday 11 to Wednesday 16 December, excluding Sunday, at 11:30 and 14:00 daily. Tickets cost R80 each or R70 for groups of five or more.
