Men nabbed with tik

Police have arrested two men for the possession of drugs worth around R10 000 in Ocean View.

On Friday night, officers of the Wynberg policing cluster’s crime prevention unit arrested two men carrying a large amount of tik. They also confiscated an undisclosed amount of cash during the arrest.

The detectives, along with the national intervention unit, also arrested a man wanted for murder and confiscated a large amount of drugs during the arrest.

In addition, police made another 13 arrests since Sunday. The arrests were made for possession of drugs, abalone, the pointing of a firearm, attempted murder, murder, domestic violence, riotous behaviour, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol and ­robbery.
