No arrests in Rosebank murder

Police are yet to make any arrests after an elderly couple – Rosalie Bloch (85) and Aubrey Jackson (95) – were found murdered in Rosebank on Saturday 5 May.

Provincial police spokesperson, Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, says the couple were found tied up by a relative.

“A report suggests the pair was found dead by a relative who went to fetch them. Circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation,” says Rwexana.

Cases of murder and house robbery were opened, but police have not confirmed what has been stolen from the house.

Rwexana adds that there are “no new developments to report at this stage”. Police are combing the scene for clues.

News24 reported that a police source reportedly revealed that two black men and a white woman were identified as possible suspects on CCTV footage.
