If you can sing, dance or impress a judging panel with any other talent, then Lansdowne Civic Centre is the place to be on the evening of Friday 2 November.
The Athlone’s Got Talent contest aims to expose local talent in the greater Athlone region.
The contest will be adjudicated by well-known local artists including Jarred Rickets, Madeegha Anders and Toyer Abrahams.
Ward 60 councillor Mark Kleinschmidt explains the event forms part of one of many fundraisers for the Athlone constituency and the money will be used to cover expenses during the 2019 elections.
Tickets cost R50 per person and can be purchased from Kleinschmidt’s office in Church Street, Lansdowne.
The show starts at 18:30 sharp and will include a break where attendees will be given an opportunity to purchase snacks.
