A LOCAL fisherman hooked his big catch last week when he caught his first grey shark and earned himself a feature on an Advanced Sports Fishing Network newsflash. Joash Gopal got his lucky break at Lucky Dip in Port Edward while he was enjoying a fishing trip with friends and family.
His catch, a grey shark, was his first shark, much to the excitement of his loved ones, who said they knew he had waited a long time for it. “Well-done to my son, I am so proud of him. “I know he waited a long time for this and it has finally happened. “I am also so happy I was there to share in this exciting moment with him,” said his mother Jothee Gopal.
