PUPILS from the Asiya Sunday School in Mtwalume were given gifts for the holidays at a function held at the church on Sunday.

Their teacher Senzo Shinga said the Sunday school is working to groom the young children who attend into becoming upstanding citizens in the future through the church.

“It is important to raise your child in a way that you will not grow to regret in future.

“In this way, we protect them from issues facing today’s youth like drugs.

‘We encourage parents to send their children to Sunday school because my child is your child,” said Shinga.
