Why are victims always punished?

A WIDOWER, whose wife suffered a painful death from pancreatic cancer, after he managed to survive two murder attempts on his farm, has been diagnosed with a chronic gastric condition.

The medical aid refuses to even partially contribute towards the medication, yet it will sponsor the total cost for the treatment of any Aids sufferer.

His condition can be attributed to stress whereas one contracts the Aids virus through irresponsible, promiscuous behaviour, unacceptable by any religion.

Owing to his permanent back injury and respiratory condition resulting from the brutal attacks on his body, he can no longer sit for hours at the clinic. (The perpetrators were never imprisoned).

Economically, he cannot afford the costs of the medication.

There has to be an explanation as to why the victim is always punished.
