THE ANC in the Greater Kwa-Dukuza Region under the leadership of chairperson
Ricardo Mthembu on Tuesday, August 8 marched against the no confidence vote against President Zuma in Parliament.
Hundreds of ANC volunteers and leaders in the region came out in support of Zuma.
The march began from Sadtu Park and went to the CBD, concluding at the KwaDukuza Magistrate’s Court where a memorandum of understanding was handed over.
Addressing the media at Sadtu
Park Mthembu lambasted opposition parties who called for this motion as it undermines the Constitution and “sets a bad precedence”.
“We as the ANC in KwaDukuza are confident that
President Zuma will still be president this afternoon and will be so until
“We condemn the actions of the opposition for wanting to destabilise the ANC.”
