THE time has arrived for the annual Umhlali SAPS Easter Egg Drive.
Last year more than 100 boxes of Easter eggs were collected and distributed to children in 12 underprivileged schools in the Umhlali area.
This year the team is hoping to collect 300 boxes. Umhlali SAPS is appealing to the community of KwaDukuza and surrounding areas to help them put smiles on the faces of underprivileged children by donating a box of Easter eggs or chocolate bunnies. Their aim is to give a treat to every child in the 12 schools. Donations can be dropped off at Umhlali SAPS station commander’s office by Friday, March 23 at 4pm
Distribution of the treats will be done on Monday, March 26.
