Roll Up, Roll Up! The modern-day circus, started by an English horseman, Philip Astley in 1768, has just turned 250 years old!

In celebrations of this, The McLaren Circus has assembled a world-class production for its 2018 show programme. McLaren Circus features top local and international acts from around the globe. This year’s highlights include the very talented Tiago Oliveria from Brazil who will delight guests with his amazing juggling skills and thrilling Rolla-Bolla act.

The hysterical clowns, Pixie and little Alick, will bring on the laughter with their antics. Direct from Venezuela, the Castillo Brothers will present their breathtaking Wheel Of Death act.

This two-hour, awe-inspiring, production furthermore includes acrobats, aerialists, and strength challenging acts.

Keeping to the tradition of circus, McLaren Circus has a line-up of animals, including lions, tigers, poodles, horses, ponies, pythons, alligators and even miniature goats, presented by their very own Heidi.

Tickets are R100, R130 and R150 and are available at their ticket office, which opens daily on all show days.

The circus will be at the sports grounds of Albertyn Primary School in Uitenhage on Wednesday 12th & Thursday 13th 19:00; Friday 14th & Saturday 15th 15:00 & 19:00; Sunday 16th & Monday 17th 15:00.
