DESPATCH Community Policing Forum recently elected its new leadership consisting of ten members serving the communities of Despatch (town), Khayamnandi, Bay Land, Mahashe and Kingstown. The team of diverse community leaders are led by CPF chairman, Sandile Adam.
“The Despatch CPF took a position to endeavour the establishment and strengthen relations amongst citizens, police and neighbourhood-watch against lawlessness in Despatch,” said Adam.
“Our first CPF meeting identified amongst others, that people should actively participate in the fight against COVID-19 by adhering to the curfew (22:00 – 04:00) and shop owners and taverns should close as they are legally obliged.”
