GRATITUDE is felt all around at Kooweekidz Educare in Levyvale, Uitenhage towards the nurses at Park Lane Clinic as they continue to provide regular health checks on learners at the pre–school despite the various challenges posed by the COVID–19 pandemic.
According to Dara Rockman, the principal of Kooweekidz Educare, for the last four years the nurses from Park Lane Clinic have been visiting the pre–school twice a year to provide learners with immunization injections, vitamin A drops, deworming and various health checks.
“The visits from nurses from the local clinic mean a great deal to us as teachers because they give us peace of mind knowing that the learners are getting their important immunizations as well as regular check–ups,” said Rockman.
