The Strelitzia High School U/19 Boys soccer team participated in the Linkside Soccer Festival held last weekend and was crowned the winners of the day.
The Strelitzia side achieved victories over Willow Academy (5-0), Bergsig (1-0) and drew with Nzondulelo (0-0) to progress to the final against Linkside.
In the final match Strelitzia scored 2-0 against the hosts and was crowned as the winners on the soccer festival.
Strelitzia’s U/16 team also played in the final after winning against Kabega Christian School and Harvest. In the end Lawson Brown proved to be the stronger team winning 2-0 against Strelitzia.
