GAMBLE Street Secondary School is proud of its top three matriculants who amid difficult circumstances did very well in the 2020 matric exams.

Liyema Oliphant lost her father in January 2020 and her mother in June 2020. Despite the difficulties of COVID-19, she had to cope with the emotional trauma of losing both her parents in her matric year.

Liyema obtained an average of 63% and has been provisionally accepted at University of Johannesburg for Bachelor of Education.
