
Durban - Three people have been killed and another three were injured in a crash at Fairbreeze in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday.
IPSS Medical Rescue said three light motor vehicles were involved in the crash.
When paramedics arrived on the scene near Tongaat, they found that three people had already died, and three people were still trapped, two of them in a critical condition.
Private and government emergency services worked on extricating them and administered advanced life support.
The first patient to be freed was flown to Durban for further treatment.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
