The ANC says it will soon present the findings of their effort to seek legal guidelines on its resolution that those charged with corruption should step aside.

After consulting lawyers, ANC national officials say they are ready to open discussions with the National Executive Committee (NEC) at its next meeting, scheduled for next weekend.

ANC deputy Secretary-General Jesse Duarte told the media that the party had received a report from senior legal council on a set of guidelines it would take on the contentious matter.
