Rustenburg – A biker, believed to have been dead for hours, was found in a veld in Rustenburg on Thursday morning, paramedics said.

The man, believed to be in his 30’s, was found some distance from the road, with his motorcycle a few metres away, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

Early indications were that he was involved in an accident on Wednesday night.

“It is believed that the biker lost control of his vehicle whilst driving around a  bend late last night,” Meiring said.

He said police would investigate.
