Meyer was practising under Eslin Meyer Attorneys in Mitchells Plain and Strand. He was arrested in 2014 after he represented several clients in RAF claims between 2005 and 2010.
"The Hawks' Serious Commercial Crimes Investigation [team] revealed that he retained the full proceeds of payments. Whilst in some instances he presented false payment advices to his clients and paid over only a certain portion of the funds," Hawks spokesperson Zinzi Hani said.
Meyer was expected to be sentenced on 26 February.
