The ANC's inability to deal with the corruption-accused in its own ranks, and the government's preference to cut funding from corruption busters to bail out struggling state-owned enterprises, continues to cast a pall over President Cyril Ramaphosa's commitment to root out corruption.

Ramaphosa answered questions in the National Assembly on Thursday, and as is often the case, corruption was high on the agenda.
