Prosecutors have rubbished former Law Geffen Sotheby's CEO Jason Rohde's bid to overturn his conviction for murdering his wife Susan - and are adamant there is "no psychological evidence" to back up his claims that the "determined and courageous woman" killed herself.
During his trial before Judge Gayaat Salie-Hlophe, Rohde claimed his wife was so devastated by his affair with an estate agent that the 46-year-old mother of three hanged herself in the bathroom of their room at the Spier hotel in Stellenbosch in July 2016, after a protracted and heated argument.
