Eastern Cape toddler found with arms, legs amputated

Butterworth - The body of a 3-year-old toddler was discovered with its arms and legs amputated in Willowvale, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.

A resident found the body in Ntlabane village around 17:45 on Thursday, spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said.

A murder docket was opened. No arrests has yet been made.

The child was dressed in a grey tracksuit with red stripes, and was yet to be identified.

Further details were not immediately available.
