Friday's weather: Sunny day mixed with some clouds

A lovely and warm day is expected for most of the country on Friday, with some parts covered in morning clouds.

Temperatures along the coast will be cool to warm, according to the South African Weather Service.

The weather in your region

Gauteng will be fine and warm. The expected UVB sunburn index will be low.

It will be fine and warm but hot in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga.

It will be fine and warm in Limpopo and the North West.

The Free State will be fine and cool to warm.

The Northern Cape will be fine and warm to hot. Evening fog is expected along the coastal areas. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate.

It will be cloudy to partly cloudy in the Western Cape at first. It will be cool over the south-west and south coast, where morning fog is expected. Otherwise, it will be fine and warm but hot in places over the West Coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh. The expected UVB sunburn index will be high.

The Eastern Cape is expected to be cloudy with mist in the south-eastern part at first. Otherwise, it will be fine and warm but cool along the coast. The wind along the coast will be light.

It will be fine and warm, but hot in places in the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal. It will become partly cloudy on the south coast by evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate. The expected UVB sunburn index will be high.
