The South African Weather Service has issued a yellow level 1 warning for strong wind between Cape Agulhas and Plettenberg Bay from the afternoon, moderating from the west towards the evening.

Gauteng will be partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB sunburn index is extreme.

It will be partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers on the Mpumalanga Highveld. The Lowveld will be hot.

Limpopo will be partly cloudy and warm, with isolated late afternoon showers and thundershowers, but hot in places in the south-west.

Conditions will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the North West.

The Free State will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

It will be partly cloudy and hot to scorching, with isolated thundershowers in the north-east of the Northern Cape.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

The Western Cape will be cloudy in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and rain.

There will be scattered showers along the south coast.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-west to southerly, but strong at times from late morning, reaching near gale force along the south coast.

The expected UVB sunburn index is extreme.

It will be partly cloudy and warm, but cool in places along the coast of the Eastern Cape.

It will be cloudy, with light showers along the coast from the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly.

The eastern half of the province will be partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered showers in the east.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

KwaZulu-Natal can expect partly cloudy and warm conditions, but it will be hot in places in the north.

There will be isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in parts of the province. 

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming moderate south-westerly south of Durban towards evening.
