Two ANC provincial executive committee (PEC) members weighed in on the reasons behind KwaZulu-Natal premier Sihle Zikalala's reshuffle this week.

They say it is simply a matter of egos.

Zikalala announced on Tuesday that he had reshuffled two MECs, including MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube, for the sake of "accelerating" service delivery. Zikalala insisted there was no other reason for the switch.
