Man arrested after missing Germiston children found dead

Johannesburg - Police have arrested a man for murder in Germiston after the bodies of two small children were found in a disused building, police spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza said on Tuesday.

The girl and the boy - both aged eight - were reported missing on Sunday, said Kweza.

With the help of the community, their bodies were found in a disused building on Monday afternoon.

Kweza said a 40-year-old man was arrested and would face charges of murder.

Further details of their disappearance, or how they died, were not immediately available.
