Cape Town - A mother from Vredekloof in Cape Town is frantic with worry after her daughter went missing on Friday, Netwerk24 reported.

Hanlie Muller said Anchen is blonde with blue eyes, about 1.7m tall and was wearing a khaki jacket, light denim pants and grey boots when she was last seen outside the Chelsea Estate complex, where they live.

“She is only thirteen years old, but might look older. I am very worried, because there are sick people out there.”

Muller said they did not have much to go on yet, but the police are investigating the disappearance.

“They don’t want to say too much about the investigation until they know exactly what is going on. It may complicate the investigation if the wrong information is shared.

“We will welcome any help,” Muller said.

Mariette Dalton, Anchen's aunt, asked for help on Facebook. According to her post, Anchen’s cellphone has been disconnected.

Another teen, Michelle Louw from Gugulethu, has been missing since August 5.

She was wearing a grey dress, grey tights and white-and-orange Nike running shoes when she was last seen, according to a notice by the Pink Ladies.
