Mpumalanga fugitives still on the loose

Middelburg - A manhunt for two Mpumalanga prisoners is continuing, a month after they escaped from custody, police said on Thursday.

Sibusiso Nicholas Ngcane, 33, and Linda Michael Cele, 31, escaped while being escorted to a police vehicle after they were each handed 28-year prison sentences on July 18, Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said.

They were sentenced for two business robberies in Middelburg and a business robbery and a murder in Elukwatini.
