Police have, through DNA examination, identified the remains of the six Modikwa mine workers who were brutally killed when their bus was set alight.
The six miners were brutally killed when their bus was set alight on April 2.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said the victims, aged between 37 and 58, were all positively identified.

They have been identified as: Moniccah Mabilo, 57, Solomon Komana, 37, and Simon Mahlokwane, 42, all from Ga-Mahlokwane village; Johannes Malepe, 56, and Ziphora Makuwa , 48, from Driekop village; and Pheta Ranku, 58, from Lesotho.
The six mine workers died, and 28 others were injured, when two people who had pretended to be mine workers got onto the bus and set it on fire. The perpetrators then fled.
The bus driver and 28 workers managed to escape through windows, but the six who succumbed to the fire were burnt beyond recognition.

Five suspects were subsequently arrested for the murders.
They were charged with six counts of murder, attempted murder and malicious damage to property.
They are expected to appear in the Mecklenburg Magistrate's Court on Thursday for bail application.
