Rwandan Foreign Affairs Minister Vincent Biruta has suggested that South Africa work with his country to find solutions to conflicts on the continent, such as in Mozambique and the Central African Republic.
Biruta paid a working visit to International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor in Pretoria on Friday, and in a meeting that involved intelligence heads and the high commissioners from both sides, Biruta told Pandor: "We have many challenges across the continent and I believe that South Africa and Rwanda can work together to resolve them."
He said this would require sincerity and a "candid relationship" as well as the "kind of relationship that can allow us to deal with any challenge, whatever it would be".
