The South African Weather Service has issued a yellow level 1 warning for damaging winds between Plettenberg Bay and Port Edward, persisting along the Wild Coast.

A yellow level 1 warning for severe thunderstorms was issued for the north-eastern parts of the Eastern Cape. 

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Tsantsabane and Gamagara local municipalities in the Northern Cape, as well as the Beaufort West and Prince Albert local municipalities in the Western Cape.

Gauteng will be partly cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high. 

It will be cloudy in the east of Mpumalanga and Limpopo, with morning fog along the escarpment.

Both provinces will be partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The North West will be partly cloudy and cool to warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated showers in the extreme east.

Partly cloudy and cool conditions with scattered showers and thundershowers will prevail in the Free State. It will be warm in places in the south.

The Northern Cape will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

There will be scattered showers over the extreme north-eastern parts.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north to north-westerly, but light to moderate westerly to south-westerly east of Still Bay.

It will be partly cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and rain in parts of the Western Cape.

Scattered showers will occur along the south-west coast and adjacent interior.

It will be warm in the extreme east and along the south coast. 

The wind along south coast will be light southerly, but strong in the evening. 

There will be strong north-westerly wind along the west coast, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Partly cloudy and warm conditions, with isolated showers and thundershowers will prevail in the west of the Eastern Cape.

It will be hot in places along the south coast and adjacent interior.

The wind along the south coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly.

It will be partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east of the province.

The wind along the east coast will be fresh to strong easterly to north-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly by evening.

Morning fog patches will occur over the KwaZulu-Natal interior.

Otherwise, the province will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong in places at times.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.
