Technically, KwaNxamalala - the village where President Jacob Zuma's homestead is located - is an ANC ward, but the IFP won the Nkandla municipality, which falls under the Uthungulu District Municipality.

Some twitter users claimed to have spotted Jesus in the streets of Nelson Mandela Bay, mocking President Jacob Zuma who proclaimed during the 2014 general elections that the ANC would rule "until Jesus returns".
