Tavern owner, 50, stabbed to death in KwaZulu-Natal

A Verulam tavern owner has been stabbed to death in the Cottonlands area, north of Durban, police said on Saturday.

Police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala said the 50-year-old man's body was discovered "with multiple stab wounds".

"He was declared dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated."
