The owner of a Benoni pre-school where a mother suffered burn wounds in an alleged domestic dispute has recalled the horror of seeing the badly burnt woman and her car in flames.

Speaking to News24, the owner - who preferred to remain anonymous - said she was still getting ready for work on Monday morning when the school's security company informed her that they had an "alarm activation".
