All the furniture and vehicles belonging to the Eastern Cape's Department of Public Works, at their head office in Bhisho, have been attached by the sheriff.

The assets will be auctioned off to pay the 18 months' salary of Nomvelwano Mhlana, who was unfairly dismissed by the department in 2018.
