It will be a cool and warm Saturday across the country on Saturday, according to the South African Weather Service.

The weather in your province

Gauteng will be fine and cool to warm.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

In Mpumalanga, it will be fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the east from the afternoon, but cloudy in the south-east in the evening with isolated showers and thundershowers. 

It will be fine and warm to hot in Limpopo.

In the North West, it will be partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the west and the south-west.

In the Free State, it will be cool along the Lesotho border, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the north.

There will be morning fog along the coast in the Northern Cape, otherwise fine and warm, but cloudy and cool in the south-west in the morning. It will become partly cloudy in the north-east with isolated afternoon thundershowers. 

The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly becoming strong southerly in the afternoon. 

The Western Cape will be cloudy along the coastal areas and adjacent interior in the morning with light rain, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but warm over the west coast interior. It will become fine in the west from the afternoon. 

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly but moderate to fresh in the south, becoming fresh to strong southerly in the west in the afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is very high.

In the western half of the Eastern Cape, it will be partly cloudy in places, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain in the south.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly, moderating in the evening.

The eastern half of the Eastern Cape will be fine and warm in the north-west, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain south of the escarpment from the afternoon. Isolated thundershowers are expected in the north-east.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly, reaching near gale force from afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal will be partly cloudy and warm, but cool in the south, becoming cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the southern and western parts.

The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming fresh to strong in the afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.
