A fine and warm Saturday is forecast for the country, according to the South African Weather Service.

The weather in your province

Gauteng will be partly cloudy and cool to warm.

The expected UVB sunburn index is very high.

In Mpumalanga, it will be cloudy in the east at first with isolated showers and thundershowers, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm. 

Limpopo will be partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east at first.

It will be fine and warm in the North West.

The Free State will be fine and warm but cool in the east and along the Lesotho border.

In the Northern Cape, it will be cloudy with morning fog along the coast, otherwise fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the west from the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, becoming light in the late evening.

Conditions in the Western Cape will be cloudy with morning fog along the coastline, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly along the west coast, where it will becoming light to moderate north-westerly later in the evening, otherwise light to moderate northerly, becoming fresh easterly in the evening.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.

The western half of the Eastern Cape will be cool in places along the coast, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be light south-westerly, becoming north-easterly in the late afternoon.

In the eastern half of the Eastern Cape, it will be cloudy with morning fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but fine the extreme north.

The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming south-westerly east of East London during the afternoon.

In KwaZulu-Natal, morning fog is expected over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but warm in the north-east. Isolated morning showers and thundershowers are expected long the coast.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.
