We won't judge you on your level of adventurousness, just as long as you get out there!

ADVETUREOUSNESS LEVEL 3/10: Movember Llandudno Off the Lip surf Jam

What: A fun day where surfers are encouraged to dress-up and surf old school style, with surfboards dating back to the 80s! The event, in association with CANSA, aims to raise awareness for testicular cancer in men. Shave your mustache clean for this event on the 1st, and then watch it grow throughout the entire month of 'Movember'. 
Where: Llandudno Beach, Cape Town, Western Cape 
When: Starts Saturday, 1 November at 09:00 
How much: R100 donation for CANSA is required

ADVETUREOUSNESS LEVEL 4/10 Brandvlei Dam Watersports Weekend

What: A fun-filled weekend in and around the Brandvlei Dam. Choose from various activities such as skiing, wakeboarding, kite-boarding, a biathlon and just plain fun in the sun. You can take the entire family to go camp on the shores of the dam for the weekend. 
Where: Brandvlei Dam, near Worcester, Western Cape
When: 30 October - 2 November

ADVETUREOUSNESS LEVEL 5/10: Cape Town Zipline official opening 


What: The secret Cape Town Table Mountain foofy-slide that's been built right under our noses finally opens on Saturday. Be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment. 
Where: Silvermist Estate, off Hout Bay Road, Cape Town, Western Cape 
When: The zipline officially opens on Saturday, 1 November. 
How much: R480 per person

ADVETUREOUSNESS LEVEL 7/10: Africa Marine & Leisure Expo and South Coast Strongman Multi-Triathlon

What: The Marine expo not only aims to teach young ones about sustainable fishing and marine life, but is also the host to South Africa's first multi-stage triathlon event this year. The triathlon is made up of 3 stages, in which you can all participate, or only choose your favourite stages.
Where: Scottburgh beach, KwaZulu-Natal 
When: 31 October - 3 November
How much: R100 for individuals, R150 for teams

ADVETUREOUSNESS LEVEL 10/10: Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon  


What: This is the mother of all extreme marathons in SA. This is a week-long grueling marathon in South Africa's Green Kalahari desert which test endurers to their utmosts. The daily stages rage from 21km to 70km per day!
Where: Starts at the Augrabies Falls National Park, Green Kalahari, Northern Cape
When: 30 October - 9 November 
How much: R17 900 or R23 000 (these prices include all accommodation, food, race fees, transport, flight etc.)
