WATCH: Elephants discover GoPro at watering hole, have a ball

Cape Town - During a recent trip to Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park, Marian and Mike Myers left their GoPro camera close to watering hole, hoping to film a few wild dogs they had spotted earlier on.

What they managed to capture on camera, instead, is both nerve-wracking and cute at the same time!

Check out the video here.

Marian, who works as a photographer for Wilderness Safaris, wrote in a blog post that while they were waiting for the wild dogs to reappear, a bull elephant suddenly spotted the little gadget and decided to do a closer investigation.

The footage shows him approaching it and then dissolves into a series of blurs, as he knocks it over.

Soon after another younger bull returns to check it out for himself. He actually proceeds to pick it up with is trunk, brings it closer to his face and then puts it down again, only to have a third herd member join in on the inspection.

While the other two kept things rather gentle, this one obviously found the contraption offensive enough to stomp on it... a few times.
