WATCH: Pilot's eye view of one of the world's most dangerous landings

Cape Town - Landings are scary as is, but when the runway you're heading toward looks like a crooked, gravel road and the roofs of houses might get in the way, things get way more intense.

And this is pretty much exactly what it looks like when pilots descend into rural Bhutan's Paro airport, which is located deep in a valley near the Paro Chhu river.

Watch this scary video!

The airport is about 1.6m above sea level, and is difficult — and dangerous — to land at because of the 5 490m peaks surrounding it.

Apart from this, it also has a super short runway.

Not ideal for anyone who fears flying!
