#AfriTravel: Zim's Africa Albida Tourism launches 24/7 reservations service

Cape Town - Making #AfriTravel even more convenient, Zimbabwe hospitality company, Africa Albida Tourism, launched a 24-hour reservations service since 1 August, making this a first in the country's tourism industry.

"This move has been implemented to better serve the needs of our customers not in the same time zones as we are, for example Australia, USA and Asia," says Ross Kennedy, Chief Executive at Africa Albida Tourism.

"Two new sales consultants have been added to the current team to boost resources, and both have undergone extensive training to equip them for their new roles," says Kennedy.

The new employees are Darlington Kowo - who has been working at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge Front Desk as a receptionist, and Innocent Mtero who joins the group from Victoria Falls Tourlink.

In addition to the new service, Africa Albida Tourism will also be introducing a LiveChat box on its website "to facilitate real-time inquiries online".

"As a group, we are acutely aware of how quickly the world is changing, and we want to position ourselves in line with current trends and requirements," adds Kennedy.
