Cape Town - If you're into old-school class, and vintage automobiles, the 16th annual Classic Car & Bike Show will be the event for you this January.
Hosted by the International Police Association, a local NPO, the Classic Car & Bike Show is held annually in the grounds of the historic Timour Hall Villa. This show features some of the rarest and most beautiful cars and bikes in the Cape and is one of only a handful of exhibits on this scale. Saturday is Modern Classics and Sunday is Vintage.
Where: Timour Hall Road, off Gabriel Road in Plumstead
When: 23 and 24 January 2016
Time: from 10:00 - 16:00 every day
Entrance: R30 per person (children under 12 free)
NOTE: None of the vehicles from the Saturday display will be displayed on the Sunday, so make sure you go both days.
Public parking will available only at Timour Hall Primary School on Gabriel Road. Visitors are encouraged to park their vehicles there and walk down Timour Hall Road to the venue.
The Show was conceived in 1999 when the Western Cape Region of the Association was looking for a method of fundraising for their various charitable programs.
