Find your happy place in one of the most optimistic places in the world

Cape Town - If you are looking for the go-getters, the beacons of positivity and the fun crowds around the world, then apparently China is the world's most optimistic country by far.

In China, you are more than twice as likely to meet someone that has a good outlook about the world and say it is improving than in any other country, reports Statista

WATCH: China's insane 50-lane traffic jam will make you want to puke!

Focused on a percentage of people who believe the world is getting better, research conducted by YouGov found that other countries such as Indonesia was the next most optimistic country with 23% of respondents believing the world is getting better.

The study found that people in the US and Britain are more pessimistic with between 4-6% believing the world was getting better.

So if those in China can smile through all the smog, insane traffic and overcrowding why not travel there and see where this fountain of optimism is for yourself...
