Heat wave forecast for Gauteng and Limpopo

 
Cape Town - The South African Weather Service has warned a heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in the Western Bushveld of Limpopo and northern parts of Gauteng  until at least Tuesday.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places for the Little and Central Karoo of the Western Cape, central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, western parts of the North-West, western and southern parts of Free State as well as the northern interior of the Eastern Cape.

Added to this, extremely hot conditions are expected over the southern part of the central Karoo of the Western Cape and northern interior of the Eastern Cape.

Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions over the northern and central parts of the Northern Cape, southern part of Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo of the Western Cape, along the southeast coast and adjacent interior of the Eastern Cape, eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, Lowveld of Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces as well as the Western Bushveld and Limpopo Valley.
