Online travel agency Travelcheck.co.za is making travel more accessible for South Africans with “Book Now. Pay Later”.
South African travel booking platform, Travelcheck.co.za has introduced a new payment option for travellers. Called 'Book Now. Pay Later', the instant credit facility lets travellers book flights and travel immediately even if they lack the required funds at the time of booking.
Travelcheck CEO, Odette Faling said, “We’re pleased to be the first travel company in South Africa to bring this payment solution to market. Book Now. Pay Later will help our customers realise their travel dreams while minimising the upfront cost burden of airline tickets in challenging economic times.”
Domestic and international airline tickets up to the value of R8000 are eligible for 'Book Now. Pay Later'and instalment contributions can be settled no later than three months after booking the flight on Travelcheck.co.za.
In addition, there is the option to pay a deposit if travellers prefer to use a portion of the credit allowance (capped at R8000) to pay for their flight. Travelcheck has partnered with registered credit provider FASTA to facilitate risk assessments which take three minutes on the online booking site.
FASTA CEO Kevin Hurwitz said, “We’re ready to help Travelcheck customers take advantage of their great ticket prices by using FASTA’s instant credit for checkout on Travelcheck.”To qualify for Book Now. Pay Later, applicants need to earn at least R5000 per month, be in possession of a valid South African ID and be 18 years or older.To activate Book Now. Pay Later customers simply choose their flight, select FASTA on the payment page and receive instant confirmation.
