Friday, 16 March

SEE: Dance With Me at the PE Opera House. Enjoy the dynamic, high-energy, visual-stimulating journey filled with singing and dancing guaranteed to captivate audiences. Tickets are available at computicket for R140 and the show starts at 14:00.

DO: Savour the subtle nuances in the flavours, and engage in delightful conversation at Survivor Wine Tasting with the fine folk at Life is Grape. Cost is R65 per person and the event runs from 11:00 to 14:00

TASTE: Some great Mexican-inspired food at Tilting Heads Taco Cafe and Margarita Cafe. A great place to surprise your palate with unique, varied menu items such as the crispy quinoa and avo salad with sweet Japanese dressing and the Mexican-style peri prawns with cashew nuts and lime. Open from 12:00 to 22:30.

EXPLORE: The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum and check out Standard Bank Young Artist 2017, Beth Diane Armstrong’s “In Perpetuum” exhibition. Open from 09:00 to 17:00.

Saturday, 17 March

SEE: Conrad Koch and his infamous accomplice, Chester Missing, on stage at Puppet Guy Port Elizabeth. Expect a night of biting, witty humour and comedic mayhem sure to have you in stitches. Tickets can be bought at computicket for R100 and the show starts at 20:00 at the Protea Hotel by Marriot Port Elizabeth Marine.

DO: Check out XhosaXulture at the Music Market from 15:00 to 21:00.

TASTE: The dim sums at Mellas Dim-Sum and Noodle Bar. Their small portions are great for those keen to sample a wide variety of food. Open from 12:00 to 15:00 and 18:00 to 22:00.  

EXPLORE: Baakens Food Truck Funday - The City Hall Edition. Enjoy live music performances, displays and peruse a selection of food on offer from 20 food trucks. Entrance is free and the event kicks off at 15:00.

SEE: Nelson Mandela Bay remains open to tourists despite on-going drought

Sunday, 18 March  

SEE: Richard Cock conduct the Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, pianist Charl du Plessis, and actress & singer Bethany Dickson at Music at The Market. Tickets cost R100 to R120 and can be purchased at computicket. Doors open at 11:00 and the show starts at 12:00.

DO: Have a day at the races. Check out live thoroughbred horse racing at Fairview Racecourse. Open from 12:00 to 18:00 with zero entrance fee.
