Cape Town - The winners of the Apex Awards have been announced and South African Airways has made the cut.
The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) is comprised of a network of the world’s leading airlines, suppliers and related companies to enhance the airline passenger experience.
The Apex awards provided various categories and when considering the winners, the focus was on innovation in an existing programme. The awards ceremony took place on 25 September in California and acknowledged developments within the industry
Travellers were able to have their say in the passenger awards. They were allowed to rate airlines on a 5-star scale through the use of the Triplt app. Results were tallied over votes from October 2017 to July 2017. The four and five star rated airline winners were awarded in the carriers of global, major regional and low-cost carriers.
